Harnessing waste to empower sustainable
Gospel impact, environmental & community
transformation where the need is greatest

The PROBLEM

The ever growing volumes of waste is one of the major challenges facing societies all around the world - and Ukrainian society in particular.

No where is this global issue more felt than in the poorer less developed countries and communities.

Plastic waste, poorly developed infrastructure, and apparent absence of viable and affordable solutions are among the contributing factors . Open air burning or incineration create toxic air pollution, unsorted waste is dumped, ruining water quality and brewing diseases.

Non-Sustainable Missions is an on-going issue around the world, that we would like to overcome in our model. We estimate that 95% of mission efforts in Ukraine are funded by a support - raising model. Many churches in the majority world are in survival mode with little resources to look beyond the walls of their church to the needs around them.

Our SOLUTION

Since 2015, our team has been developing a game-changer technology. It's our own version of the promising and well established pyrolysis process. We've designed a compact, continuous and truly multi-feedstock system that safely deals with troublesome plastics, municipal solid waste, biomass, rubber and industrial waste streams separately or in mixtures.

And our systems have easy maintenance and part replacement...and at a price that won't cost the Earth.

Our approach creates the foundational technology that can be easily dovetailed with other productions to become an integrated zero-waste system with multiple marketable outputs. Our concept is easily duplicable, thus giving access to effectively and sustainably engage communities that have never seen an active Gospel witness.

Redeem Waste Technologies is a business focused on blessing and transformation. This is achieved by being intentional about developing redemptive workplace discipleship.

IS THE TECHNOLOGY PROVIDER POWERING

Our Process Advantages

1. Integrated Zero-Waste technology

2. Low Manufacture Cost: High capacity. No mega factory needed.

3. Continuous Multi-Feedstock: Biomass, Plastics, Rubber, Municipal Solid Waste

4. Compact Design: Containerized for quick installation

5. Modular Construction: Easy maintenance access and part replacement

6. Future Goals: Become a game-changer technology with Plug & Play and Total Energy Autonomy

Our VISION

Most of the places we aim to impact have never witnessed the powerful transformation the Gospel of the Kingdom brings. Many things we take for granted in a working society are either broken or have never existed there. By harnessing locally produced waste locally, we develop a profitable business creating sustainable jobs and an assets-based solution empowering the local community, local church and local mission.

In each new location we’ll be either: Partnering with the work that God is already doing. Time and energy will go into forming the Kingdom Impact Team. i.e. pastors, ministry leaders and the local business partners to create clarity, unity, strategy and expectation

Or we’ll be pioneering in a brand new location where there is little to no Gospel witness. We will be mixing Christ followers and non-believers in the same work environment and developing active workplace discipleship: this will give the Gospel access to people who wouldn’t normally step foot in a church.

Although each new location will embody our vision and culture, it will have its own ‘personality’ based on its specific environment and needs and also from the growing ministries being empowered by partnership with our enterprise.

The drive is to bring the most Kingdom impact. We are looking for strategic partners to join on this journey. Beyond workplace discipleship, redemptive employment and harnessing waste into resources, we see great opportunities to become a movement that actively engages communities with creation stewardship.

Production Goals

1. Launch production in Kaharlyk, Ukraine which will become an example and an inspiration for integrated community transformation and sustainable missions.

2. Expand our R&D work to create & test innovative new 'flow on' concepts.

3. Launch a franchise model in multiple locations.

4. Impact Target in Ukraine = 500+ towns and small cities

5. Global Potential = 100,000+ locations?!

      Impact goals

1. For the world to see that it is the Christians who are solving the environmental crisis in Ukraine.

2. To Inspire Christians and give them a platform to use their gifts for the Kingdom of God.

About the Founder

In 2000, Wayne became the pastor of a small church in rural Ukraine where it felt like there was 100% unemployment amongst the members. This started a journey to create jobs, disciple workers and impact a broken society in a country that has suffered immensely over the last 100 years.

Since 2003, Wayne and his team have undertaken numerous projects to help locals “put bread on the table” and become catalysts of change. Biogas, biodiesel, mushroom growing, composting, and worm farming have been among the many startup projects, but by far the project with the most potential is our plastic waste2fuel pyrolysis project.

All of the projects have a common theme - taking what society has discarded and converting it into something beneficial. And we now dream to scale this far beyond our town into thousands of struggling communities.
